Rockwood Students, Staff Celebrated at May 2026 Board Awards Ceremony

More than 440 Rockwood School District students, groups and staff members were honored for their achievements during the Board of Education Awards Ceremony on May 19 at Marquette High.

The Board of Education Award is one of Rockwood's most prestigious honors, recognizing students and staff members who have achieved the highest standards of excellence that embody the Rockwood spirit.

Representatives from all four high schools, all six middle schools and Ridge Meadows Elementary earned Board Awards.

Board of Education President Tamara Rhomberg and Superintendent Dr. Curtis Cain welcomed attendees to the ceremony, and Dr. Cain and Board directors Bob Cadigan and Dr. Amy Wassman helped hand out the awards to students and staff.
