Rockwood Volleyball Tournament Features Fun, Competition for District Middle Schoolers

All six Rockwood School District middle schools enjoyed a day of fun and competition at the annual district volleyball tournament, Saturday, Dec. 7, at Rockwood Summit High.

Co-ed teams from each grade level -- sixth, seventh and eighth -- competed in separate "X" and "Y" tournaments, with the teams playing each other in a round-robin stage before the top two teams faced off in a championship match.

Our Rockwood teachers and physical education coaches did a wonderful job of preparing their students, and it was great to see the friendly competition across the district!
