In Rockwood, our focus remains on our students' academic, social, emotional and physical well-being. We have been working diligently on our gradual phase-in plan for a safe return to the classroom. As our elementary and middle students move forward with in-person learning, we look to offer our high school students that same opportunity.
When will our high school students have the option to return to the classroom?
- Wednesday, Nov. 11: Freshman orientation activities
- Thursday, Nov. 12: First-day return for 9th - 12th grade
When will high school families indicate the educational preference for their children?
On Friday, Oct. 23, Rockwood will send an email to parents of high school students. In this message, families need to indicate which educational plan they have chosen. We will also share links to our website that will offer more information about both the at-home and at-school programs for high school. We want to provide our families with as much information as possible as they make a decision for their children's learning. The deadline for response is Wednesday, Oct. 28. Please click the link below to be taken to our Rockwood High School Decision-Making Guide.
How do I make the best decision for my child?
It’s important to know that our Rockwood At School plan may change and be modified as necessary to support the health and wellness of our students, staff, parents and community.
