Three Rockwood students smile at their elementary schoolMonday, Aug. 22, was Rockwood School District's first day of classes for the 2022-2023 school year.

We are excited to welcome our more than 20,000 students, more than 4,000 staff members and our families and community members back to our school buildings for another great year of fun and learning!

Thank you to our students, staff members, families and community members for making the first day a success and setting the table for an outstanding school year ahead!

Be sure to check out our Facebook, Instagram and Twitter pages for back-to-school photos and videos.

Here are some scenes from all four Rockwood quadrants on the first day and a video with some sights and sounds from the first day, including a message from new Superintendent Dr. Curtis Cain!
