Eureka, Lafayette, Rockwood Summit Celebrate Community Spirit During Parades
This past weekend was bustling with activity on the streets of Eureka, Fenton and Wildwood, as the three Rockwood School District communities celebrated their school and community spirit with parades!
Lafayette High and Rockwood Summit High both held their homecoming parades the night of Friday, Sept. 30, and Eureka High and its feeder elementary and middle schools were very well represented in the annual Eureka Days parade on Saturday, Oct. 1.
Groups from many different Rockwood schools, clubs and organizations marched and rode floats in the parade, as well as doling out candy and other treats to attendees.
Rockwood Superintendent Dr. Curtis Cain served as a grand marshal of the Eureka Days parade and was a special guest at the Rockwood Summit celebration.
Marquette High graduate Clare Marie Kuebler, Miss Missouri 2022, was also a special guest at the Eureka Days parade.
Thank you to our students, staff members and families for helping make these memorable events to celebrate our communities!
