Rockwood to Hold Curriculum Public Review Session on Tuesday, Dec. 13

 A Rockwood staff member speaks at a curriculum review meeting.The Rockwood School District is holding a curriculum Public Review session from 6-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 13, in Room A100 at the Administrative Annex (500 N. Central Ave. in Eureka).

The Public Review session is an opportunity for parents or community members to review draft curriculum documents to provide feedback. Members of the curriculum team will be available to answer questions. The documents that will be reviewed will be brought to the Board of Education for a first read on Jan. 19, 2023. 

This Public Review session is part of Rockwood's normal curriculum writing process. Curriculum available for review will be: 

  • K-5 English Language Arts 
  • US History
  • Honors US History
  • World History 
  • US Government 
  • Biology 
  • Honors Biology 
  • Band/Guitar 6-12 
  • ESOL 
  • Project Lead the Way Cybersecurity
  • Freshman Seminar
