Rockwood Celebrates Veterans Day

Students in patriotic dress smile outside their schoolDuring the week of Veterans Day (Friday, Nov. 11), schools around the Rockwood School District held celebrations honoring military veterans for their dedication and service to this nation.

At breakfasts and assemblies, through performances and parades, our Rockwood schools showed the veterans in their communities how much they mean to us and how grateful we are for them.

Thank you, veterans, for your service to our country!

Watch a Veterans Day video message from Superintendent Dr. Curtis Cain, as well as some scenes from celebrations at Rockwood Summit High and Selvidge Middle:

Here are some images from celebrations at the Eureka Early Childhood Center, Ballwin, Blevins, Chesterfield, Fairway, Kellison, Ridge Meadows, Westridge and Woerther elementary schools, Crestview and LaSalle Springs middle schools and Eureka High.
