More than 40 music ensembles from nine Rockwood School District middle and high schools recently earned top ratings at large-group music festivals.
The ensembles cover a variety of musical disciplines in band, orchestra and choir. Middle school groups who earned top marks received a "1-Superior" or "2-Excellent" rating. Top marks for the high school groups were denoted by "Gold-Exemplary" or "Silver-Outstanding."
