Rockwood Fall Sports Athletes, Teams Highlighted in Post-Dispatch

Here is a look at some of the preseason recognition garnered by Rockwood athletes and teams!

Cross Country

Lukas Groenewald Grace Tyson

Lafayette High seniors Lukas Groenewald and Grace Tyson were each named a "Runner to Watch."

Field Hockey

Olivia Williams

Lafayette junior Olivia Williams was named a "Player to Watch."

Football

Kevin Emmanuel Alex Bray

Eureka High senior Kevin Emmanuel (running back) and Marquette High senior Alex Bray (defensive lineman) were named to the preseason All-Metro team.

The Marquette Mustangs were also ranked No. 10 among large schools in the preseason rankings.

Girls Golf

Addy Surber Peyton Cusick

Lafayette sophomore Addy Surber and Marquette senior Peyton Cusick were named "Golfers to Watch."

Girls Volleyball

Juliette Myrick Olivia Hasbrook

Eureka senior Juliette Myrick was named a "Player to Watch," and junior Olivia Hasbrook was featured in a story about the Wildcats' team.

Lafayette (No. 1), Eureka (No. 2) and Marquette (No. 7) were also ranked in the preseason large school top-10 rankings.

Softball

Eureka (No. 2), Marquette (No. 4), Lafayette (No. 5) and Rockwood Summit High (No. 8) were all ranked in the preseason large school top-10 rankings.
