Community Partners in Prevention Hosts Virtual Event for High Schoolers About Stress, Anxiety

 A flyer for the "Get Out of Your Dinosaur Brain" EventRockwood Community Partners in Prevention is hosting a virtual event for district high school students centered on understanding and coping with stress and anxiety.

"Get Out of Your Dinosaur Brain: Tending to Stress & Anxiety Productively" will be held via Zoom on Tuesday, Sept. 14, from 6-7 p.m.

The event, presented by local organization Kids Under Twenty One, aims to help participants unpack stress and anxiety, understand how the brain directs our responses and how we can get ahead of the fight, flight or freeze options that get in the way of living life to its healthiest.
