Class of 2026 Students and Families:

Tonight, 100 members of the Class of 2026 enjoyed time together at the Freshman Tailgate.  We are blown away by the response of our kids to come together and enjoy a beautiful evening of games, food, and football!  Thank you to all the parents for volunteering and donating; we are so lucky to have you all as part of our community.  Soon, we will be turning our attention to Homecoming Week and all the fun and celebration of being a Lancer.  I hope everyone has a great week ahead!

Schedule for the Week of September 19 - September 23:  The schedule will be B (Late-Start Monday), C, B, C, A.  Please be sure to plan your AcLab time and sign up for both mods.  For this week, there will not be AcLab on Monday since it is a late-start.  Be sure to sign up on Tuesday evening for Wednesday’s AcLab.

A “Sweet” Hello Candy Donation Request:  Mrs. Barber and I enjoy it when our Class of 2026 students stop in for a piece of candy or a mint during passing periods.  Students will often take a quick moment to share their days, school involvement, classes, etc.  Please help us keep our candy and mint bowl filled by donating individually-wrapped candy.  Candy donations can be delivered to the Freshman Office (Room 117), dropped off at the Welcome Center (with a note to deliver to Mrs. Barber), or conveniently ordered through this Class of 2026 Wish List.  We appreciate our Class of 2026 families!  Thank you for your donations!

What’s New in Rockwood?:  There are a number of items that are new or changing across the district that we would like you to be aware of, including a new communication system, a new visitor management system, school meal changes, the expansion of Hazel Health services as well as an update to Rockwood’s Safe Together plan. For all the details on what’s new in Rockwood this year, please visit the district website.
