Class of 2023 Students - As the first day of school is quickly approaching, we are looking forward to seeing the Senior Class when school resumes on Monday, August 22, 2022.  Make sure you enjoy every last minute of your summer!

  • Important Senior Dates.  Senior year is an exciting time full of memories!  There are a lot of events and important things to take care of for graduation.  Make sure to check this link or the LHS calendar for any updates throughout the year.  
  • Senior Year Event Costs- to help you plan for some of the upcoming events. 
  • Class of 2023 LPO - has been working hard to make this year special.  They have lots of information and volunteer opportunities available.  Keep up on all the LPO News for the Class of 2023.  
  • 2022 Yearbook Distribution- If you ordered a 2022 Legend, pickup will be at the following times:
    • Tuesday, August 16, 2022 from 9 am - 2 pm
    • Friday, August 19, 2022 from 8:30 am - 10 am
    • **  After these dates, you will need to email thelancerfeed@gmail.com to make arrangements to pick up your yearbook in the Welcome Center.  
  • Senior Portraits - SIGN UP NOW! Inter-State Studio is Lafayette’s official portrait photographer. Only portraits taken by Inter-State Studio will be included in the yearbook, and there is no sitting fee.  Suggestions for attire:  a dress, blouse, collared shirt and tie, or collared shirt. 
  • Parking Pass Information for 2022-23 - Parking Application Information.  The online application opened on August 1, 2022.  
  • Open House:  We will host our annual Open House on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 beginning at 6:15 p.m. in the Main Gym.  Student speakers and entertainment will kick-off the evening followed by your chance to walk your students’ schedule and meet teachers.
  • Senior Grad Ads:  Grad Ads for the 2023 Legend are on sale beginning Aug. 10. They must be submitted by Nov. 18 to be included in the yearbook. All ads will be ordered, created and paid for online through the Yearbook Order Center.   Click Here for information on how to purchase your ad.  
  • Outside Food Delivery Reminder:  Please remember that Lafayette does NOT allow food delivery by outside vendors (ex. Uber Eats, Door Dash, restaurants).  If a student has forgotten their lunch, students should see their grade-level administrator.

  • LHS Guidance & Counseling Office:  The LHS Guidance & Counseling Office link will provide you with the names and contact information for our guidance department staff.  
  • Schedule Changes - Prior to August 24, 2022:  Any student needing a schedule change should access the following link to request a change.  Schedule changes will not be allowed after August 24.  2022 Schedule Change Request Form
  • Chromebooks:  Please be sure to log into your Chromebook prior to the first day of school to check your access to your Google account.  If you need assistance, please access this link for support.
  • News from the LHS Library:  Parents have the ability to receive daily email notifications regarding the materials their child has checked out of the school library.  Parents wishing to receive these daily emails should contact the Lafayette librarians to activate this feature. 
  • Meningitis Vaccine Information:  The state of Missouri and the Rockwood School District require all seniors in high school have their second Meningitis shot after they turn 16 and before they start their senior year of high school.  For more detailed information, please review this letter from our school nurses.

    • In addition, you can learn more about the Activities Season Pass, which is now available to purchase online.  
  • District Information - There are a number of items that are new or changing across the district that we would like you to be aware of, including a new communication system, a new visitor management system, school meal changes, the expansion of Hazel Health services as well as an update to Rockwood’s Safe Together plan.
