At Woerther, we are dedicated to getting books into students' hands, so we have come up with the following procedures to ensure all students have great books to read!
Students learning from home may check out 5 books at a time.
Books are due two weeks after you are notified they are ready for pick-up.
HOW IT WORKS:
1. Shop for Books
Log into Destiny (using the same credentials used to log in to district devices). Use the search features to find the books you are interested in reading. (You can also find out what books you have checked out by clicking on My Info once you are logged in.)
2. Put Books on Hold
When you find a book you want, place it on hold. (Click the link for a “How to Place a Book on Hold” video tutorial. It is the same process for all Rockwood students.)
Or, you can complete this Google Form. Don't know what books to request? You can also use the Google Form to request a "Mystery Pack". Ask us to put together books for your child based on his or her age or interests.
Please remember, there is a 72 hour quarantine on all books, so it may take a bit to get your book ready or someone else may have put the book on hold before you. We are doing our very best to get you the books you want as quickly as possible.
You will be notified via email or through Canvas once your book(s) are available for pick-up at Woerther.
3.Pick-Up and Drop-Off
Pick-Up and Drop-Off times are Monday - Friday from 9:00 am - 3:30 pm.
When you arrive at Woerther, look for the blue tent by the outside library door (marquee end of the building). There will be a bin for you to put the books you are returning and a cart for books that are ready for you. Please remember we will contact you when your books are ready.
For everyone’s safety, masks, sanitizing, and social distancing are required.
Please follow all safety guidelines while picking up or dropping off books.
